I am looking for a reputable Aircon specialist that I can take my E90 too. I have re-gassed many times but now its time to get it fixed properly. Problem is the leak is most likely behind the dash in the evaporator unit. Any suggestions.

Would also like to know. I have the same issue

I did take it last year to Auto Aircon in Edenvale and they kept it for a day to check for leaks and told me that their were none to be found in the engine bay, so it is probably behind the dash and they need the car for 1 week to fix it and it costs around R8k. (Probably even more now.)

Then I took it a few months later for a re-gas to someone else and they told me its not a leak behind the dash and that their is a valve on the compressor that is probably causing the problem?

So who do I believe? So really need someone who knows BMW aircon systems well.

What I did notice however is that after every re-gas, as long as I left the system running on around 18/19C and did not use the heater function on the top vents then it seemed to be fine for a while, however if I used the heater then the next day the aircon no longer works and needs a re-gas.
