Rear trailing arm bush - E90 330i

Hi guys.

Since fitting 19's on my car (E90 330i), the back tyres have really bad uneven wear from the inside. Got under 3000kms on a set of back tyres that were almost brand new. Used to get at least 40 000kms on the 17's.

I have spoken to a few people and the suggestion is that I need to have the rear trailing arm bushes replaced.

My question is - have any of you guys done this? And, did it help with the uneven wear on the tyres?

I have 19 inch on my e90 and don't have this problem.put new tyres on end of feb and done about 5000km and tyres still look new

Thanks. The problem was very slight with the original 17's. But now this is the second set on 19's at the back in a 3 month period. Really don't want to put a 3rd set of tyres before trying to fix the problem.

has your wheel alignment been st up right?

TWT never ever touched the rear of my car,when I did the 19's (HI-Q Dastec) found that the rear was completely out and they reset it using weights in the car,back and front sits.
haven't had any problems with it.

Whats the mileage on the car?

Contact moranor@axis on the forum who will supply you with uprated parts so you never have the problem again

last wheel alignment was done at Ralf before I had the last set of tyres fitted.

mileage now 176000 kms

Get powerflex bushes from Moranor@axis. Then get suspension setup correctly after they are fitted

my mileage is on 106500kms,so as the other said get new bushes from Moranor@axis as your mileage is high

I have made contact with Moranor.
wonder if the offset of the rims has anything to do with the uneven wear?

my rims have an offset of 35 front and back.

mine are same off set.

tyres are 265/30/19 rear and front is 240/35/19
