9j et40 could work ...
i know 9.5j et 35 which is around 11mm more poke does rub ... alot! ...

best would be to test fit the wheel with some rubber on and take it from there ..

i am trying to convince the gyus to pre fit it for me but they do nat have a a set with tyres on as yet. On one of the sites i saw i can go for 19 inch 9j with et of 46 rear and 40 front (8.5j)

Hi. I had the 19inch 1M wheels on my 135i convertible. Fronts were 8.5j 235/35/19 and rear 9.5j 255/30/19. Fenders rubbed on every little bump on the road. The look was very aggressive but i was chasing rear tyres every 4 months.

Jack your car up and fit with out tyres - you should still be able to gauge poke.
With keen eyesight you may well be able to estimate whether you will get inner side rub.

I don't think you will have issues - ask some of the 135i guys running bigger wheels about their offsets.
