Really battling to get parts out of dealer.

I'm finding this quite frustrating having parts ordered up to four months ago still not arrive through the BMW network.

I'm not talking about obscure items only which I could understand it's stupid stuff like a cubby torch and front grill fastener clips, critical items like a top radiator hose and airbox intake venturi, seat belt parts.....

I know it's an old car but if the part is listed by the agents as available then supply it or tell me to get screwed when I try order so I can go make another plan, don't take my money in advance then make me wait in the dark.

I mean I am just replacing my top rad hose as a preventative but if it had actually broken the car would have been off the road and undriveable for four full months already....

The parts guy tries to find out for me but the order status just always says "in processing" in Germany and we all wait.....

Having the same problem with BMW Auto Glen, ordered som parts in September last year and they told me the same thing, i have to wait.

Totally ridiculous.

I Don't think that all bmw suppliers are out of stock for SA.....someone too lazy to get of ass and do there job....

Yep it would seem that some parts that are NLA never get listed as such on the SA side. I have been waiting for weather seal glue for 2 months, I dont think its ever going to arrive.

But I only pay when the stuff gets here.

Well this is similar to the dealers recommending that I rather order stuff myself as it will work out cheaper, aih, sad state of affairs.

The dealer is messing around. If the part says availble in Germany it should have came already. Tell them you want your money back and try another dealer.
