Real Msport or just a badge

Hi Guys , I need some help please, I bought a 2005 E90 320D msport, but here is my dilema, I think I was fooled, I dont know if it is a real Msport, how can I be sure, here are the pro's, it has the leather seats with full adjustable, its lowered, it has BMW side rails when you open the door, it has a lip on the boot,

cons, it doesnt have the bumpers, both front and back, it doesnt have an msport gear nob,

is it an msport or not, I uploaded a pick as well,

:cry: thats what I though, dam idiot lied to me, how come its lowered with the booth lid and also the door, is it just add ons, now I have another problem, I heard it is not nyc to drive with an msport sign if it is not an msport, should I take the sign off, or just change the bumpers

If you like it, keep the badge. Its your car. Dont worry what other people say.

BTW - My 320d MSport does not M badge on the boot.

Do you have the Sport seats ?

Those are all cheaper to do than replace the front and rear bumpers, go to http://www.rubmw.ru/vincode/eng/

and enter your vin, it will also tell you if it is one or not, this is just for your piece of mind.

If you want to keep the badge on, then do so, it's your car and you need to be happy with it. Otherwise you can just spend the cash and convert it, I don't think the MSport and Normal has any dif between engine components, just the suspension, sterring wheel, gearknob ect. But I could be wrong.

Alot of guys believe they have MSport cars because for example, the service manual will say 320 (M), guys wanna believe that the M is for Motorsport, when actually it's just for manual transmission.

Only ///M cars have an ///M badge on the back.

Msport does not put ///M badges on the back of their cars. They only have ///M badges on the gear knobs, door sills and mags.

Mine doesn't have on the door sills, but individual, but it has also comments from factory that it should say individual, so not sure if that is the reason.

Except for that everything else is M, gearknob, steeringwheel ect.

I hope you come right buddy
