Hey everyone,
Was hoping someone could give me some help. So Im not sure if it's because Im just more "aware" of my car now that Ive had almost 2 years to get used to it. But around 6 months ago I started feeling like my car was making a more "unstable" tractor sound around the 1600rpm mark when driving. I would describe it as a shaking sound, a little too "wobbly" for me to consider normal. A technician told me it was normal diesel sounds but I still don't feel confident about that. I posted a video below. At about the 27/28 second mark it does it "most".

Also, this isnt a cold start. Im at 136,000km with a downpipe and a somewhat conservative tune.

(27/28 second mark)

I have a 2015 X3 with the same engine at 144k km. It also developed a resonating sound at around 2000rpm at lower speeds. You can only hear it when sitting inside inside the car and seems to be comimg from the left side of the car.... engine is just too loud to try and find it under the bonnet. Hopefully someone can comment. I thought it was the air intake and put some damping around it. Noise seems slightly less but still very noticeable. Will get it checked out at next service.... I gave up looking for now.
