I will try and keep it short and sweet

Beginning November I get about 6 faults on my dash and on my OBC
4x4 system failure, ABS failure, active steering failure, DSC failure, EBD failure and one or 2 more

Take it straight to BMW and managed to find a techy cos it was just after 6pm
Techy checks it out and says it needs to come in

I go inside to make booking and ask for courtesy car, none available, so I go to the woman in charge of courtesy car and she says 4 people need the car before me and then its us, so she takes my name and number and says she will give me a call and let me know when I must make the booking for the car in accordance with when she phones me about the courtesy car, said it will be about a week maybe.

In the meantime i checked on google and youtube and found a way to clear the faults in the meantime, so I done it and they cleared, i told the techy but he still insisted it comes in and goes onto the diagniostics machine for about 2 days as it is software related, so I say no worries
I also showed them the broken handbrake switch that had snapped off and they said they will do that at the same time.

4 weeks go by and not a peep, i call them and they dont know who i am or what Im on about, eventually speak to the woman about the car again, she asks for my contact number again and says there is one person that needs it before us

4 days later still no call, i tell my wife to go in and see WTF is going on, eventually they say bring it in the next day

By this time the car also needs its service as the light is on, so they say they will do that too, now this was on Thursday.

My wife collects the car today, NO handbrake replaced, and they said there were no faults on the dash so thats fine, but they told me it had to do the full diagnostics run, but because there was no fault on the dash they didnt do it, this was the MAIN REASON for the car being booked in the first place

And to add insult to injury, car was filthy, not washed and a massive oil/grease boot print on my carpets

WTF :argh::argh::argh:

I had a 330i individual e46 5years ago, took it to clearwater bmw for rear numberplate lights as it was on plan, they booked the car in and told me they'd call me once it was done, I thought they'd do it while I waited. When I picked the car up and went home, my wife noticed a scratch on the passenger door so I immediately drove back and requested some assistance. The service manager hears my complaint and then says that I'm a laaitie who scratched his dad's car and now wants to blame bmw to fix it, his name was vito, an italian guy. I got wild cos I dont like to be judged as I was dressed very casual, I spoke to the manager who was very helpful and resolved the matter ver diplomatically, they got my whole door resprayed. I was happy but I just feel very irritated that you send your machine to the stealers to get the best service and care to your vehicle, but they abuse it. I visited one of my friends at a toyota dealer once and the appy was doing a service on a corolla, he picked up a plastic attachment and asked, ''where does this go?'' as he tried to find the place by pusshing it everywhere like a puzzle, I was shocked! That is why they dont allow customers in the workshop:argh::argh::argh:

Sorry to hear bud:thumbdo:

I ordered a set of mudflaps (4) for an e30 (plastic bumper) a couple of years ago from this dealer.

A few days later, they call me to collect, i drive all the way there and its the wrong ones :bangdesk:

They re-order and call me again. The rears are fine, but there arent any fronts??

Eventually i did get my mudflaps, but i had to phone them a few times to check how far they were with my order.

I wont ever deal with Clearwater BMW again.

Scouse, firstly... sorry for that experience. But I also think you were too kind to them.

The fact that you sent your wife and check on it makes me assume you were busy and couldn't go there yourself.

Like the fanatics make mention here, report this crap service to head office and make noise.

I've learnt that it's all nice and sweet when they sell you a car, but they blind fold their eyes when there are faults on a car! I'm sorry I hate that!

My advise, put up a long A$$ email, with pics etc ...find the most senior person possible at head office, send them an email, find their number, then call them to check if they even read the email.
