You're right.... I can't really feel the difference , possibly a bit more raspy.

Where did you get the scoops from bud?

M style- uk
Just funnels to channel air straight into air box instead of filtering through the kidneys

Ram air effect doesn't exist if you have an airfilter

Hello, the scoops are only channelling are like funnels, what would you use for filtration. Companies like evolve, Macht Schnell and BMC recommend this combo. May I ask on how you've made this assumption ?

I think + 1 on coolness and I also think your engine is begging you to clean it!

I think it will be good in the long run as your car will get cooler air on highways or highspeed runs etc, but to benafit from ram air you need to be doing some INSANE speeds!

Correct dude- only works at motorway speeds -

Its used in piston engine aircraft. On some high performance planes you can remove the air filter from the airstream with ducted ram air bypassing it. Any Ram air looses its speed as it hits the filter. Extra air certainly cant harm anything, but shouldn't add any performance.

Hence the larger paws in the performance filters

More for looks than anything else. The M3 already has a brilliant intake from factory, using 3 intake points. Therefore gains are minimal, even with the high end full induction kits.
