Radiator fan

Hi guys, I have a E93 330i 2010 bmw. I'm having a problem regarding the radiator fan. Once the engine gets hot, the fan turns on and never stops and keep getting louder until I switch off the engine. Any idea on what could be the problem?

Not Sure if the E46 and E93 fans work the same but my E46 did the same thing..
i even replaced the fan with a Brand new one and it still did the same.. Spun up to FULL BLAST and stayed on FULL BLAST.

So my issue was the Plug that connected up to the Aircon Pressure switch was not plugged in correctly. ( Plug was actually broken )

Second i plugged it all the way in, Issue was resolved.

Apparently its a Fail safe. DME did not get a "Ping" back from the AC pressure sensor so it activated the fan to avoid Overheating IF the AC was being used...

Just my 2 Cents..

Maybe Start off with Getting diagnostics done. Im sure it would have stored a fault. This was my Error Using a Delphi Scanner:

7D - Activation, electrical fan

And the AC indicator was:

Climate (Climate control - IHKA/IHKR (IHKA/IHKR: Climate control))
DTC Description
1E - AUC heating, short circuit to negative

- Present

1D - Pressure sensor, short circuit to positive

- Present

Maybe you just have a noisy fan, going on when the engine is up to temperature is normal, and shutting off when the engine is off is also normal, I would maybe get the fan thoroughly cleaned first.

Could be over fill aircon gas.
