Anyways, some raceways offer both in a day.....Track in the morning and drags after lunch. I know a few car clubs have done this at Dezzis already.

Drags are over within 15 seconds... so it should be handled separately on its own day as to allow everyone who wants to drag, do so all day long...

In a circuit where each car does a lap for over a minute, you cant split the day into half circuit and half drags coz then how much track time are the circuit racers going to really get in half a day with different groups going out at different times to do 4-5 laps (warm up, fast and cool down)?

There are many concerns at the moment as to the track day. With it being our first event, we worried about numbers actually participating as the primary concern. The costs of any track, drag racing and circuit are basically the same price, but we know that drag racing slots will be filled up in a week max.

With regard to the track racing, Theres where the teams concern comes in. We looking at keeping the pricing down to make make it attractive and in hope that we can fill it asap. Falirure to do so will result in a cancellation of the event and us loosing funds etc.

We had an overwhelming response to the poll and circuit racing won by a few votes, so we gonna try our level best to host a track event.
No decision have been made as yet and our teams are going to our to meet the some venues this weekend to discuss things with the owners and by next week we will have feedback.
