most tunes are undetectable.
I cant believe a gain of 100kw just from chip.. Thats BS.
And we have tried and tested many options on the 35i.

agree with you here twinz.
Was checking on the vwgticlub, Giac tuned a 135i and it made like 304kw, i think it only got sw

you agree with him and in same breath you say giac tuned a 135i and it made like 304kw.. then he did get a 100kw+ gain!
there is so much room for boost and tuning so im sure you can get wild gains! and i wasnt stating facts i said ive Heard claims of 100kw+ gains.. what tipe of gains have you seen from a chip alone on a 35i ???
all i know is from word of mouth, all the 135i's and 335i's in witbank is stock.. havent seen one around here come close to my car!

yeah mean't Giac posting their graph and figures

Ive raced 2 of the 4 cars you mentioned, all at tarlton so they were 400m runs

I ran a 13.8, 100% stock standard 335i E90 (pump fuel, runflat tyres at 2.7 bar, never even deflated them at all)

I ran the E92 M3 and his fastest time was 13.7, it had a nice full zhorst system, however it was his first time ever on the drag strip

C55 AMG, dunno whether he stuffed his launch but i killed it so bad that he went and parked his car afterwards , but as i see it, anything can happen on the strip

But have to say i love my 335i and even as stock as it is, it still Farks off to my liking :)

Hi there guys. I've got a 1994 Lancia Delta Integrale Evo 2. Raced a white 135i on Rivonia road the other day. We had a good few robot to robots. Gave the 135 a good klap every time on the pull off and through to 3rd gear, but once we got nearer 200, he pulled past me quite easily. Obviously the delta was made for more point and squirt type applications! Was good fun though!

Delta is standard, 165kw on 4 wheels, 330nm torque. 2 litre, Garrett t3 turbo running at 0.9bar boost.

Old skool is clearly cool!!!!!!!

Guys

Do you want me to arrange some Audi's and mercs etc for a run off?

Cos these threads are all speculation and I would love to see how the cars do.. I may have a C55 AMG in my garage as of the 6th for 2 weeks.. I can ask the owner if we can do some runs with it?

The RS4 I can get from 021 Auto.

Shaine can bring his relatively stock E46 M3.

And we have a few 335i's and 135i's which can get together?

I managed to get run my 135 against a C55 in JHB. They are pretty closely matched but the gear changes let the AMG down and when we were in 3rd gear, the 135 was about 2 cars ahead.

Similar in terms of the power that they put to the ground. The only thing that lets the Merc down is its gear changes. Relies too much on brute power to go quick. At the coast the Merc will kill me though

i cudnt agree with u more. a std 335i driven properly farks off like donkey kong. study the car shift each gear in momentum, dont let it run straight to 7000rpm then u'll be loosing to e36 m's.

Mos1ted's modded E36M saw the back of a stock 335i very clearly!!:)

h ah a ah ah ha

Modded E36M meaning software and exhuast

With hardware mods Kevs , its not going to be so easy , but that 335i is not to be ruled out , steptronic FTW !!!

We must test once my car is out with the new hardware mods in.

With software to the 335i i got no chance up here.
