Raced a 135i?

Hi,

Has anyone raced their stock 135i or raced against one? How did it run, what did it run against, and was it in JHB (altitude)?

I was wondering how it would run against the likes of the E46 M3, E92 M3, RS4 and C55?

A strange comparison. asuming those cars are all stock. The stock 135 will just about hold on to the e46 & C55...the others should run away.

at the coast depending on condition of the e46 m3 , the 135 would not have much of a chance on longer stretches

c55 will beat it as well.
e92 as well.
most by big gaps

but if u chip the 135i then things will be very differnet at the reef or even the coast

Apparantly an AC Schnitzer conversion would cost R135k and take it up to 265kw and 520nm. Nice power hike but for the money, I would rather get a better car. There seems to no cheap way to mod this car without loosing motorplan.

Raced a few stock 135s with my E36 M3 and was ahead on a 2km run , i had minor mods at the time , exhaust and indcution.

Like every other brand out there, software to a turbo car makes it a different competitor to go up against especially at the Reef.

There are far cheaper and better options for huge power, that will NOT affect your motorplan. psssssss...secret....you can gain serious kw's and Tq with just a chip and a tweak for under R10,000. Contact rennzport.

get the dastek uniQ chip with a Y-Harness! dont have to cut wires and its plug and play then + fully tunable! and ive heard of 100Kw+ at wheels gains on 135s and 335s chip alone! they are very detuned to avoid beating the E92 M3!!! and if you send it for service! plug out the chip and the harness and whala! stock again!

Im sure the 135i will run ahead of most of those cars at Altitude!, i ran dead even with a C55 from 100kph to 240kph and that was at the coast!!
Im not too sure abt chipping and flashing the ecu etc! Bmw has gadgets that can pick up on these tunes!!

If you load software yes!! they can pick it up by all means! but the dastek chip lies to your ECU and he thinks he is getting the same values or readings from the sensors! so 100% undetectable!

Was checking on the vwgticlub, Giac tuned a 135i and it made like 304kw, i think it only got sw

I read on the Gti club forums (link below).. someone made mention that bmw has something called "Fast Data" Something they use to detect if the ecu has been flashed etc... anyways im not clued up on this you guys should def know more, as much as i would like to get more performance im very afraid to loose warranty..

you agree with him and in same breath you say giac tuned a 135i and it made like 304kw.. then he did get a 100kw+ gain!
there is so much room for boost and tuning so im sure you can get wild gains! and i wasnt stating facts i said ive Heard claims of 100kw+ gains.. what tipe of gains have you seen from a chip alone on a 35i ???
all i know is from word of mouth, all the 135i's and 335i's in witbank is stock.. havent seen one around here come close to my car!

But really, you are gonna need much more than just software to get 100kw gains

On a car that we've done, the latest figures were +320kw and over 600nm.
And that has all the possible bolt ons + software.

The torque is really ridiculous :shocked:

Revo I'll speak to you when i do get it, for down pipes, cooler, change the big turbo but ill use the dastek chip!
I propably sound like a dastek rep but im one satisfied customer!
I had an 3hour interview with Pieter de Weerdt for streetracer and he realy did think of everything when he designed the UniQ chip range!
