Racechip Ultimate for 118i LCI, B38 1.5l

Hi all,

I would like to ask whether anyone has had any experience with the Racechip Ultimate on their 118i LCI B38 1.5l engine? Based on their SA website, the gains seem significant, BUT there have been 50/50 reviews regarding Racechip and how it's product works only on some cars and not on others!?

If the Racechip is not recommended, what are the alternatives for engine performance tuning for the B38 1.5l? I've heard of JB4, but having looked on their website, I don't see anything for the particular engine.

Any info will be appreciated.

Hi, I had the RaceChip Pro2 on my E90 320d for almost 2 years now, very pleased with no issues at all.....

The power was increased from 194HP to 211HP, engine values (not wheel).

Now I'm going to sell it because I want to try the other solution for the car, the remap.....
