Flash tuned a JCW via the port. Mid-range gains on the wheels were up to 28hp & over 40 NM peak gains. Due to the superknock issues these cars have, I have deliberately not given any more advance for a pump fuel map & hence the power does come back towards stock at 5000rpm. If someone is prepared to run octane dailt I can do a map that will maintain power past the power peak. But nevertheless, I'm impressed with the mid-range power & torque increases & makes for much better acceleration once in boost.

Does it peak at 190kw?

What would happen if you tuned it till redline on normal fuel

Well done to xcede on those gains, good to see reliability is taken into consideration as well

 That is really some good gains and the fact that the car was tuned moderatily for reliability reasons is a big plus :bravo:
Well done xcede :bravo:

Well done Sherwin, I raced mine for the first time on Sunday. It was impressive for stock in 32DegC, ran 14.9. The mods will begin soon:idea:

Dean when you change gears whilst racing what rpm does it drop down to?

I would imagine then that this map is for more midrange pull than a racemap?

Did not notice will video it next time around but sweet spot is around 5500 to 5700rpm, higher than that and you going slower.

It is my JCW that was done by Sherwin, car has improved a lot and it has so much more punch in the midrange, which has increased the fun factor quiet abit.. I'm sure there is plenty room for more but that would require octane etc to avoid the super knocking issue as Sherwin has pointed out.. Consumption has improved quiet abit aswell..

Overall very impressed, well done Xcede... :bravo:
