Quick question

I recently purchased a 2013 328xi sportline w/steptronic 8 speed. I have sport/sport plus, but no LC or sport transmission. Is there a way to add/code that feature,
Or would I need another transmission?

The auto transmission and the sports auto transmission is exactly the same, only difference is sports auto has the paddles on the steering wheel for shifting :=):

We have a 320i LCI Automatic and it only has economy , comfort and Sport

My friend has a 420d Grancoup Automatic M-sport (Not sport transmission) But his car has Economy , comfort , sport and Sport + (but no pedals on steering )


What is the Sport + ?

All Auto transmissions cant be the same ?

To my knowledge the Sports Automatic Transmission includes the Paddle Shifts, a nicer gear lever and the Sports+ option, with LC on models 2013+I am not 100% sure but I have read on multiple forums that shifts are quicker / longer ratios with the SAT but there I haven't seen any official info around this.

I have SAT but not LC as mine is a 2012, I am also interested to see if there is a software update to enable this option.

Sport + just seems to put the car in Dynamic Traction Control Mode

Looking at the car mine is a '13 with sport+ but with analog gas consumption gauge but I don't think it had the lc in it.
