Question on E92 335i

Hi guys

I may be back in the market for another 335
I have a friend selling one and wanted to find out something

He says its a 7 speed auto and its a 2007 model
I wasnt aware that the 7 speed was available on a 2007 model?

If so, is it just a 7 speed steptronic or is it DCT etc etc

As far as I know an '07 is definitely the 6-speed steptronic.

Steptronics are 6 speed boxes

You do get E92 N54's with 7 speed boxes.

The 7 speed DCT only started appearing in late 08/early 09.

There's is a 6 speed and a 7 speed dct avaiable as well from our forum members. Both are really weel looked after and we'll priced. IF I were in thE Market, I would have a look at them as well.
