Question for whoever does the tuning.

Hi there.

I take it you guys have reps around the country.

Now if I wanted an exceed remap. And I wanted one to be mapped for a turbo upgrade. How does one map a car when you're in joburg and I'm in Cape town without getting a generic map you've already done for another 330d with stock turbo.

Just curious as I'm looking for a tuner.

Thank you

Hi, the rep will read the stockfile and send to me & do logs if required. I will make the maps and send to him to write.

Thanks for the info sherwin, although while I initially prefer the best person to make the map. Are the other xcede reps able to update/write maps. As we all saw with promotec, Rolf was the only person doing the maps and when he disappeared so did any assistance for the us who have the software.

In other words is the customers map just dependant on one person or are they able to get assistance from other xcede reps?

I am in a position where if i need a tweak to my software, i have to get new software, but dont want to be in the same down the line where I am relying on a single person for maps.

Not pointing specifically at xcede, i have the same question for all tuners.

Another question.

Lets say I get software on my car. Then I later decide to add more hardware. Do you guys do a free tweak or is there a cost involved?

No cost for upgrades to map like intake/exhaust, etc.

If you go bigger turbo, or bigger injectors or cams or something that requires custom tuning, then we will have to charge unfortunately.
