Another Update:


Got some ducting to hide some of the JB4 wires and make it look more stock. Gave her a nice wash and finished my tablet install.

Tablet was tricky as I had to solder a 100k resistor into the signal wire to get it to charge and use OTG functions at the same time.

Worked :cartel:

Tablet is stuck in place with velcro so its easy to take out.

Also got some E95 :rollsmile:

Anyway, the only reason people read these things. Pics.

Nicely done man! Tablet install looks great, will definitely go this route when i get my JB4. Has the car adapted now? Is there a proper bump in power that you can feel? Curious to know the results after all the mods you've done.

Yep, especially after adaption and some hard pulls. I strongly recommend running some eth to get the full "holy crap this thing goes" experience. I bought a jerrycan and just chug 5-10L every time I fill up and it really makes all the difference. Considering the price of eth, a tank of fuel now costs me +-R25 more. I can live with that.

Issues not sorted, and I suspect it wont be until the holiday season passes and the tuners open up again. I have a few theories as to what might be causing the problem. If I'm right I can expect another proper boost in power once JB4 sorted.

After that's all done I'll dyno again at the same place. :=):

Edit and Update!
JB4 Sorted 100% now. My DME software was never updated and was quite a few revisions behind. After OBDWorx sorted me out, is working well.

Carbon Bits, Methanol Injection and BMS Tips.

Also got carbon mirror caps and MPerformance skirt stickers. No photo's of those yet though.

I also got my hands on a OEM M135 backbox which has been cut open and modded for some -hopefully- pretty noise. Fitting that next week.

Oh and some additives because race car.

Hey bud will love to know what's needed to enable the tablet to charge while plugged into the jb....have the exact same setup but annoying having no to remove tablet for it to charge all the time
