PSR intake for E46 M3

So, I mentioned a week or so ago that Burgy had been playing with Jezebel and installed a new toy for her.

Well here is a video showing off this new toy.

Burgy will have all the details for it. All I know is it sounds amazing and is giving me a lot more engine response. Not really sure if there is more power, will have to Dyno with it on and off on the same day and let you guys know.

But here it is, an Intake for NA M3 that sounds just like a CSL.

Will ask Burg to come answer all questions. I have no idea on price, all I know is they being made locally and that Burgy's goal was to make an airbox that sounds like a CSL with more response and power but at a fraction of the cost. He is using my car to test this manifold for any peculiarities. So far, none that I have noticed.

I can definitely say that in 5th gear on the highway, cruising along, if I put my foot down, she responds a lot more quickly than before.

Cannot say there is more power, if there is, I don't feel it or haven't had the balls to push the car more, but one thing for sure, it sounds so mean, I can't stop pushing the loud pedal. My fuel consumption is now suffering. Ha ha.

This thing is so loud over the original airbox, people hear you coming and watch in awe as you pass. It really is awesome. I've had a few people stop next to me and comment on how amazing it sounds.

If I wasn't going supercharged, I'd keep this thing on for sure.

Hey guys,

The Intake is currently in production, Ill only have pics when its done.

It is an entire intake manifold. The kit includes: 6 silicone couplers, Intake Manifold, Silicone attachement, MAF housing (unless alpha n required), Extension pipe and cone.

Im Hoping to be able to retail the kit at about 10 - 12k all in.

Awesome stuff.

From my personal experince it is difficult to gauge the improvement of an intake on a dyno, way to many factors to consider, i.e. flow of air , room temp etc. I've found that the most noticeable improvement is always found on the highway and in the higher gears 4/5th like its been mentioned in the ealier post on this thread.
