protection from stonechips on a long trip?

I use the clear plastidip on the top of the rear bumper loading area. It works but it gets dirty and stain over time because its not smooth. What helps is after you done the area with plasti dip is to wait a day and then aplly wax over it. :thumbs:
 
I have done the bottom of back bumper, kidney grills and badge in plastidip, and its smooth. What I do every now and again is rub it down with tire gloss, that blue can, it makes it nice and clean.

Best temp solution is the blue tape...

Builders or Mica keep them

Yes +1 on the blue tape..

Plastidip? I tried the glossifier and what a disaster, it's like rubber and comes off so easily? The metallizer and matt black I used before are proper stuff, either I have a bad can or the glossifier is different? :fencelook:

The glossofier is meant to be applied over the normal pladtidip to make it shine instead of matte
