Proposed new Purchase- ///M3 Comp Pack

Hi guys

I bit the bullet with my first E92 M3 in 2012 with a 10 year itch finally scratched.During its ownership, I widened the track with spacers and continually looked at EBay for 359s.... I guess, deep down I wanted a comp pack car. I didn't want to lower the car cos I wanted just a 10mm drop and was told that it's more the trick dampers which give the comp car the 10 MM low look and not springs.
So,almost 3 years later I sold up and got myself an and E93 in Silverstone II which is great but it feels heavy and the steering doesn't feel planted when the hoods down due to the weight on the rear end.
IMO.... More a posers car than a dynamic drivers car- and yes, the body does not feel rigid when the tops down.

But anyhoo..... I've proposed some numbers tot the dealer on the following car and wait for their response. If all goes well- I collect the car on Saturday-Fingers crossed

E92 M3
Competition Alpine White
CF splitters & Boot spoiler
M Performance exhaust
Harmon Cardamom ( see what I did there)
Steering wheel
Engine
4 tyres

Dude this car looks hot!

M3 CP FTW

The only thing I could suggest is maybe a CF diffuser for the rear and some vinyl
wrap on the side skirts.

Don't do the ///M Stripes. It looks perfect as is.

Awesome package. I love the competition pack.

What does it cost on your side? How many km? and no motorplan right?

Full BMW service history

Motorplan dos not exist here. BMW offer a "free" 1 year warranty on all parts and labour based on their approved used policy. This is an EU cover , so if I broke down in Austria.... I book it in, hand them the key fob and the works covered. The warranty includes a years BMW breakdown cover. After a year you can renew the policy with them for around £1200 for another year and when the car hits 7 years old.... Then they start to cover only 80% of parts but 100% labour. Year 8 of cars age 60% parts and 100% labour and so on.

Warranty is a must have on this car.
Driving my E93 to the dealership to get the M Perf exhaust chafed over.

Here's a pic from last year - from black to Silver vert

Stunner! But the exhaust is not MPerformance though from what i can see in the photo?

By the way, did you hear an Mperf exhaust in person? I had an Mperf exhaust on my car but took it out. Just didn't have the sound i liked. It only sounded good maybe 10% of the time (under acceleration at approx 3500rpm), otherwise a very tinny hollow sound.

You're very observant and 100% correct.
The new one doesn't have it on yet. The pic with the 2 cars on the ramp is from last year, when I had the exhaust removed from the black e92 and swapped to the Silverstone E93 on the right.
I drive the vert to the dealership tomorrow so that they can do the swop from the e93 onto the White E92.
It will save time for collection day on Sat.
Re sound.... It's toned down YES. But I didn't want drone and wanted to keep the OEM integrity intact.
Akras do sound wilder but then we're comparing a full system against a muffler system.

Guys.... Cars collected.
Don't have the best pics but I'll post what I have.

Feedback:
The cars fantastic compared to my previous E92 and E93.
Feels light and responsive. That 10mm drop is just perfect.

Car feels tight and gear changes are really smooth.
Here are a few pics I've taken so far
