Good Day Guys.

The Race Day committee is thinking about creating a class for Bikes to replace the dedicated race cars as we dont see any registered for it.

We would like to see of there is sufficient interest in members who will participate.

Let us know your thoughts....

I'm probably jumping the gun here slightly, but what are the track rules going to be with regards to overtaking?

Usual trackday rules is no overtaking in corners or dive bombing corner entry. Overtake on the straights only.

So best to pick a class that suits your speed.

Thanks for replying Carbon. Its exactly as he stated. However due to RedStar having 6 marshalls at viewpoints all across, and due to the fact we have chosen to have timing equipement, drivers who are showing they have the skill and speed to move up into the next class will be notified as well.

Will there be separate classes for the bikes like a normal track day? I do quite a bit of track day riding, A/B class, this is why I'm asking.

Classes are normally A,B and C

C - Overtaking on straights only
B - Overtaking on straights and outside of corners
A - Anything goes

We have proposed a seperate class for bikes only, however onky have and 1 other guy hsve registered and paid. Give us 2 to 3 more weeks and we hoping more bikers will register. Unfortunatly we capped at a max of 3 classes only and cannot male any more due to time constraints.
