I see ALLOT of guys saying "I'm in" and that is great, but from experience I know if 20 people put their names on a list for an event, normally about half pull out at the end, or just do not show up.

So if we go this catering route, then a few questions...

1. Is there a minimum of people that need to book before they cater at R90 per person?
2. Is there a deposit we need to put down?
3. Will they cater at a venue we ask, or do they have a set place in mind?
4. Will they be able to cater Halaal food?

I know some of these questions are answered in the original post, but its worth re asking to make sure. :thumb:

Thanks

Firstly we will not make a booking or reservation until we have a proper list and payments from members, to avoid the "no valid excuse for not pitching problem".

We will however require to place a deposit when making a reservation as these guys work by booking only and get really busy.

They will cater at any venue we ask provided it's in jhb and yes all the food is Halaal.

The catered option certainly seems like it would be the better option.

Firoze, just to clarify? With the understanding it is not possible to cater for every individuals needs, myself and possibly other fanatics do not eat beef. Chicken and lamb options would be fine. The sausages/wors being offered, would it be beef or mutton?

I haven't gone as far to Find out what the sausages are but I will make enquiries and post them here.
