Very confused? Jezebel is having new pistons and valves put in, so I will only have her back next week.

Guys just a heads up, I was present for the race day this past weekend at ODI.

The track was horrendous. ODI resurfaced the lanes with liquid rubber that has not settled and i dont think its going to settle anytime soon.

Track is very slippery even at high speeds for the 1km. All the cars present were struggling for traction , majority only getting a bit of traction in 3rd/4th gear.

Cars almost crashed and stuff. 1km runs had the cars fish tailing.

Please be wary for your guys event coming up, I would rather cancel or reschedule the event IMO

I just cannot stress enough of how bad the track is.

+1^

The track was really slippery. Even got some wheel spin in 4th gear in one run.

Hope to see you all there tomorrow!

The reason the track was slippery last week is because the guys at ODI put down some liquid rubber, and it rained so the rubber did not set correctly.

Ive been assured that the track is perfect for tomorrow!

Hey Gents, attended the 1km runs this morning with the 330d, unfortunately couldn't stay for the quarter mile runs but got a time for the quarter mile in my official 1km run. Traction was still a problem off the line and the first section of the run but still managed to do alright!

Had 2 practice runs which yielded 209km/h and 210km/h on the 1km. On my third and official run I did a 209km/h again and managed a 14.3 sec quarter mile during the run. I'm happy with the results as it was the first time for me on a track and the first proper runs I've had with the diesel!:joy:

Thanks to Project Shift and BoostJunkies for organising the day!

Was a really good day..

I think,my best 1km was 223 and I did about 4 straight 14sec 400m.

Ran with a 135 (decat only), I won (stock)

Ran a e36 m3, i won.

Really good fun.

Can't seem to break the 14 flat.

The other thing, my take off is really shocking, my car is auto with paddles and not dct, so if any one has some pointers,,would really be welcome.

You guys did well. The M5 was awesome too.
That diesel was impressive. It gave some VW's and Opels a good hiding. :bravo:

Traction was a problem. But I managed 14.4 on the 1/4mile and 215Km/h on the 1km.

@ BMW135i It was my E36 M3 you ran. I was quite impressed with the run. Correct me if I'm wrong but I was on your rear bumper over the 1/4 mile, I just have a decat so I'm very happy with the way my car is running. Thanks for the run bud

That black E30 was fantastic to watch. Waiting at the bottom of the 1km, that car sounded like a missile.

@Burgy it was great meeting you and thanks for being a part in organizing the event.
