power steering leak - slow at low speed e39 540

hi guys,

ive recently acquired an e39 540i 6speed and picked up a problem,
ive got a power steering leak but cant seem to find out where its coming from,
its not coming from the steering fluid reservoir, but its somewhere lower down roughy in line with the reservoir, i cant seem to have a good look in there

i think it could be the pump but not sure,
also the steering becomes quite hard at low speeds sometimes

any idea where to get a replacement pump for a reasonable price in the cape town area?
any advice would be much appreciated
