depends on how much power you want... if about 200kw is enough then i say go V8 it will be way more reliable and you wont have teething problems like you will get with the turbo...

what price you got on the engine and 6 speed :fencelook:

200wkw is enough, I would have to swap a S62 in there to make that figure. I can get the m60 v8 but it would put me in alot of debt getting it running in an e36, it would also upset the balance of the car as an extra 50-60kg on the nose will make it a pig on the race track...

I must say, it is an itch as I have always wanted a v8 3 series.:fencelook:

will the weight difference really be that big after you add all the bits onto the 4 cly for the turbo?

If there is debt involved rather go for the turbo and spend some more time on the track...
