Possible E90 Auto gearbox problem?

Never occured before...
But have noticed that lately, my vehicle slips when on an incline.

Its in gear (Drive) and gradually rolls if i take my foot off the brake.

Maybe i'm making too much of it. Maybe i'm just paranoid?!


Experience the same?

When I went to Durban, they have very steep drive ways, I noticed that mine rolled a little, my hand brake wasn't very tight, I think a little roll is maybe acceptable but I am no mech, but I know my gearbox was just serviced in November last year and they said everything was good with it,

My dad's merc does this. The torque converter lockup isn't instant so you get a bit of roll on a steep hill. The E60 holds the car on an incline on the brake till you get moving which is quite nice

I always used to put it in manual mode and select gear 1 on an incline. Never had this issue.

Sometimes in drive it will still keep it in gear 2 and this will happen.

Also freaked when it happened the 1st time until i found out its ok .
