Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I just want to warn JHB fanatics about being con'd by a company.
Here's the story:
My 528i had a knock between 1 & 2, went to a company in Jetpark called Signature Gearbox and Diff, formally known as GDS for repairs.
i was advised at kilo's of 280k, it would be best to replace the box with a recon, they showed me the box they were fitting etc etc....
Collected the car last week, still had a slight knock between 1 & 2, but was better. So when I get home, picked the car up, and guess what, still my same box, only thing that was removed and replaced was the sump cover.
Called them , no they fixed my box, told them but I paid for another box, took the car back, between the two owners, they keep passing the buck between each other. Everyday its a different story.....
So Ladies and Gents, DO NOT get con'd as well, just beware of them.....
