Nah, my wife had a little misfortune this morning, rear-ending a Toyota Run X in Durbanroad.

Apparently the Run X is worse off.

Being 7 and a half months pregnant, my wife is in a state, very emotional, but luckily no-one got hurt.

My damage is not too hectic, bumper cracked, damaged the panel between the lights, the right front light moved slightly (only on the bracket), the trim around the license plate is cracked, and I have some scuffmarks on the bonnet.

I agree with Hellas Mtech sounds like a plane.. I am sure UBER can photoshop a broken on onto your car so you can show the insurance the damage

Insurance wants to see the car, but I might be able to negotiate a cash settlement. After that you are on your own. Only thing is, afterwards if something is wrong with the work, you have to fight your own battles.

I'd take the chance for a cash settlement. Look at Adrew's E36, he went over a robot pole (not really), but there is visible radiator damage and it is still fixable.

Apparently there is no space for my sense of adventure, all the space is taken up by that frikken wing

I am already struggling with a measily 103kw. Imagine the strain i will put on the engine with THAT wing. I will have to tow the car to get anywhere. Oh and a motorsport bumper from the agents is 7k. Then you need to buy all the bits and pieces, cause nothing is the same as the old bumper.

Don't get sport kits on that car, it just looks rediculous when the car's engine can't match it's coat.

Quick update:

Car is going in on Monday. Managed to get my hands on some plastics (fender liners, air ducts etc), so while the car is there, they will fit that as well.
