Plzzzz help E90 problem

Could someone please help.My car a bmw 320i e90 2006 was misfiring badly and i changed alot of parts (injectors,coils,spark plucs etc etc) but then i found out it was the 2 pre cat o2 sensors so i changed them and car is running fine.Not the engine managment light is back on so i pluged it upto the computer and its saying OXYGEN SENSOR HEATER BeFORE CAT what is this? can i get a part for it? is it expensive? how do i fix it? Thank u for any help

Are you 100% sure you replaced the Pre-cat sensors with the original OEM Heated sensors? It is important that you do this because the heater inside the O2 sensor helps it get to operating temperature quicker (about 600degrees). The heater inside the Sensor might be faulty or the unit might not have a heater in it.
Your diagnostic equipment should be able to give you the temperature reading with the engine running.

Where did you change the 02 sensors? I need to replace mine as well but I dont know how to remove them.

Help needed.

Where did you change the 02 sensors? I need to replace mine as well but I dont know how to remove them.

Sensors screw out. It may be hard to unscrew, be careful and use penetrating oil liberally. Unplug old sensor from harness, replace with new one. You should be able to get replacements from Bosch or Goldwagen.

Hi Ters. Thanx for the advice...problem is the wiring harness...i cant see where to unplug it....and im not sure what sensor 1 bank 1 is.
