My cousin was driving along in his E46 320d 2005 the other day, when he came along a pothole. Not sure what happened, but they got into a bit of a tussle and my cuz came out not smiling so much. His right side airbags deployed and he buckled front right rim.
Now, he doesn't have the money to do any repairs just yet, and we're having a bit of an issue with insurance, so in the mean time, he needs to drive this car for work.
However, the car sometimes refuses to start. We know its not the battery. Car swings healthily, and we even tried boosting it for good measure. We know a diagnostic would be good, but again, yesterday he got a quote of R1600 from the doctor (some BMW dealership around Woodmead) for that consultation...
Any ideas guys??? Probably electrical fault right? Anybody know somewhere we can get the diagnosis done for a better price??? Muuuuuccch better price?
