Please help

Hi guys I'm driving a 2004 BMW 318ti. The steering is making some aweful noises. Almost like a grinding sound. Can anyone please tell me what could be wrong? And also where do I check the power steering fluid level? Thanks in advance fellow BMW fanatics!

Power steering fluid. Had the same issue on my car. Just top it up.

As the previous posts suggest. It's the power steering fluid
