So I get to the mall. Parking was fairly full but not too bad. I drive right to the back of the parking lot where there are no other cars, this is to minimise the risk of some idiot opening their door/ knocking their trolley on my car. Get a good spot and park. Shopping complete, I return to my car to see this

Just so you can see how far the nearest car was ...

I have to ask with tears in my eyes ... WHY ?

Why would you park so far away from all the other cars, but find a spot RIGHT next to ME ?? There was PLENTY of other spots ...

lol he probably thought it was safe to park next to you because it looked like you were someone who would not bash his car... that beetle seems to be in awesome condition from the pics...

LOL, sharp...

This has happend a few times but never as obvious as this. But yeah, the beetle was clean. I just don't get why he didnt park one bay away at least.

Yep, that is typical!! But then again, maybe he has the same idea as you - just doesn't make sense since the condition of his bumper... :nonono:

I'd rather park next to a car that "looks" like it's owned by a careful driver, and hopefully they will remain parked next to me for the time that I am away from my car - so indirectly his car is protecting mine!!

I get that aswell! It annoys the $%^& outta me! Whole parking lot is empty but some jacka55 feels the need to come park right next door.:bangdesk::bangdesk::bangdesk:

To be fair though, it looks as though the car was parked fairly away from yours. i.e the doors could open with even coming close to touching yours.

Was that clearwater?

Yeah, Clearwater

He was far away and there was plenty of space between us so either of us would be able to open our doors without touching each other (Man that just sounds wrong :yuck:) But, there is this unspoken rule amongst freaks like us who park miles away from everyone. If you going to park miles away from everyone, at least leave a bay free between us. Its like the unspoken rule of the urinals, if the urinals aren't busy, you leave at least one space between you and the next oke, right ?
