Please advise about Spot Light

Guys I need if someone can help me with something.
My bottom left front spot light (fog) stopped working. It is a aftermarket spot light, so i removed the 2 wires connected to it, the positive and negative and removing H1 globe I see that the globe was blown. Now I got a new one and fitted in the globe and plug in the positive on the globe and then to my shock I see that all of a sudden there is no negative terminal on the housing of spot. There was one there when I initially removed the globe. So I go check the opposite spot and I pulled the wires off and felt that there is a negative terminal on that spot. Im working on this from under the car, I don't want to remove bumper. So Im posting a pic of the above mentioned spot and if someone could assist me as to where I could connect the negative wire to the spot or would I have to replace the whole spot? I hope I don't need to and someone could advice.

Just run a negative wire from any "earthed" spot on the car and solder it onto the point where the negative wire broke off

if you see the clip that clips the globe in place as per pic, I tried to connect the negative wire connector to it :fencelook:
Popped a fuse :bangdesk:, well I replaced the fuse, so will have to look for a place to earth it then

nothing easier than popping in for a chat, put car on lift, work with ease....shop is still reasonably quiet at this stage of the month

 thanks Ralf, I definitely come past you on my day off next week Tuesday thanks

ALL sorted, advantages of a "high-lift" to get to those normally difficult areas
