Matt, we not unreasonable, if we dont moderate "any" form of advertising tightly, we may get flack from our current advertisers or lose them altogether.

Also look at the forum rules that state that usernames advertising a business will be changed or deleted without notice. We have corresponded with you via PM some time back about this matter. And forwarded you the information regarding advertising.

I also explained to you that your product is popular amongst our members and that it would be in your favour to pursue the advertising route. We have not heard back from you.

At this stage its best that we change your username so that we do not fall foul of forum rules and cross our current advertisers.

Well I hope he uses the advertising forum as I was recently in contact with a company in the US that did this and tried to get them to send me equipment and the actual tins of plastidip to use in spray gun and the mofos only ship to the US!! And was quite rude about it too! Like he didn't want my business! Not sure whats up with those punks only shipping in there own states, like they don't want our money....money is money as far as I'm concerned.

Up until right now I had no idea anyone in SA was doing this! I'm very happy about this!

From what I read it's illegal to ship plastidip through conventional means due to regulations etc. Probably something to do with high pressure canisters or chemicals or whatever... I'd love to get my hands on a few gallon tins myself. I'd love to make my car matte white :fencelook:

I understand what your saying but the plastidip I am talking about is in normal non pressurized paint tins that you just open like a normal plascon wall paint. so I don't see why there would be any regulations against shipping that.

I know, I'd also like a few gallon tins. Maybe that has to do with chemical restrictions, they are probably even afraid of toothpaste being used as a chemical weapon :tease:

Just mask off about 2 cm around the badge. Give it about 4 coats, let it dry between, then let it dry & carefully peel off the excess

loads of vids to show you how to do it. but yes dont tape up too close to the badge, light coats, and the plastidip should peel right off and leave badge black.

Done my kidney grills already, looks amazing! Loving this stuff... Need some clarity, is the clear and gloss 2 different items or do you make a gloss by spraying many coats of clear?

The Builders warehouse in northgate estate has a few cans of black left.

To make it gloss black you have to buy the glossifier one!

I agree Plasti Dip is an amazing product. Used this on my car once and it did give my car a new look and new feel. :praise: It is a solution to many common car problems.

I would just order from the suppliers. They sell a mag wheel kit of 4 tins for R430. So get 2 kits, with delivery and its cheaper than getting from builders
