take the vinyl off now before the glue becomes an issue... wheels are a very complicated shape vinyl would not be my 1st choice...

I'm not going to wrap the rims with vinyl lol...
I'd rather paint them with plastidip...

I am in doubt that it will withstand the heat as even my powdercoated rims got re-fired with nice brake dust in it:nonono:

Apparently on the s4 of the guy who runs plastidip. He has been running plastidip on his tail pieces for a year.

If you send him a message he will reply and give you advice.

And when you want to take it off, its easy enough to pull it off with not hassles.

You can even spray clear on your rims to protect them from the elements.

I did vinyl the roof but it has some imperfections.
I will have to redo it or plastidip it.
