I have a pre lci, so no halogen, or exonen, or angle.

I so baldly want to put angle eyes on my car,

is it possible and is it very expensive, can I not just buy a second hand headlight and wire it up or just buy the angle rings and fit it to this head light

Hi Clifton,

If you dont have Xenon then you MUST have halogen headlights. As E90's only came in these 2 options. Halogens being standard and xenons being the optional extra.

You can get Facelift E90 Halogens headlights which have Angel Eyes. Then swap them with your current pre-facelift headlights. This is what i did. Straight swap, no coding or issues. Just fit, plug in and you have Angel eyes.

I can ask the guy who i swapped my headlights with if he has anymore available, however there was a cost involved.

Alternatively, you can send you headlights to VSOMAI who is a forum sponsor. He can modify your headlights by opening them up.

I seen Vsomai work on the below thread, will pm him, looks really cool hey,

I wish I can do my lights like that, I would love it, looks stunning

Normal globes are Halogen...

Clifton, if you decide to swap headlights let me know then i can chat to my supplier to arrange headlights for you. I paid R2000 plus my pre-lci headlights for the LCI headlights.

Somai quoted me to do mine, extremely reasonable and good references,

then I also found a place in isando that sells a complete head light with all the angle rings and stuff for R2700 so I can keep my old set in case something happens, only they so silly they cant tell me the specs, they say its super white, and its halogen,

will post a pic for everyone to see

Awesome... 2k is not bad if i may say so! I was not keen on breaking the seal of the headlight hence i went this route. And, its OEM.

Those are replicas. They would probably work. Not sure as I never used them. But, I bought a replica M3 bumper from that same company and it was perfect. I sold the bumper to ///Shaun who fitted it on his E90 and it was a perfect fit. So maybe their stuff is good in that way.

I'll pay someone in Sandton area 1000R to put them on lol. That's on top of whatever they cost to buy (which i think is about 1000R).
