NFCKN said:So Question to all Drift Masters
How do you go Sideway's in a Beemer?
I driven sideways in lots of old school cars, yank handbrake, slide ...counter steer accelerate..
In various Beemers i've owned i either bog down, or get screamed at by all the warning lights on the dash..and quietly limp away hoping no one was watching...:hammerhead:
Please share ....

Just hold the DSC/traction control button down for 5 or 10 seconds, big warning sign appears in the dash. You can then spin the wheels without flashing warnings signs everywhere and engine power getting cut. Wet parking lot and space, lots of space is good! Did I say lots of space!
I'm far from a pro, but you just need the back to break traction (excessive power or handbrake, but excessive power more fun), then like you say "counter steer and keep the back lose by accelerating. Really hard to master, but damn fun learning.
Did I say find a BIG open space?
