Ok so I trying to pick between the 2 but it is tricky.
2002 bmw 525i touring manual 160k km R90k
2007 bmw 325i touring manual 65k km R240k

525 is an awesome car but it is oldish.
325 is new and under motorplan still so it does some piece of mind
525 has had 1 owner, old man. private sale so no BS
325 cost bit more than twice the 525
325 has trade-in option
525 must get rid om my car myself

E39 was tbe best car in the world. Everyone has a 3 series...

You will get more private selling than trade in for the old car aswell...

If you go for the 3, you will forever wonder why you spent R150k do get a lesser car.

+1 on E39.

Also, consider the fact that if you decide to sell the car in a few years, the E90 is going to depreciate a lot more. You will probably lose the entire value of the E39 in depreciation costs of the E90 (if that makes sense)

Also depends on what you plan on using it for. As a family vehicle, the E39 is so much more comfortable, even at it's age. And it has a real spare wheel :mmm: a bit of peace of mind on those long trips ...

The only problem is the 525i touring dont sell to easy and I'm in a hurry and a manual 525 touring is not going stay available long.

That is always the problem. If you need to get rid of a car quickly, you will have to compromise a lot on price.
