Good Day fellow fanatics

I'm in the process of doing an Philips HID headlight install on my E36, I looked at a couple of globes online and all I saw was numbers :hammerhead:, (damn globes looks all the same to me)

So I would like to know if there is anyone on the forum who has the install on an E36 and which kind of globes did you use.

Your input is much appreciated.
:ty:

Both low & high beam uses H1, that's if you still using OEM headlights. Some aftermarket headlights uses H11, MY E36 did not like the HID KIt I had headlights issues and after removing the HID kit all was well

Hi beams and lows are H1 as mentioned. I have a 95 325i. I've had had HIDs in the spots and low beams for 2years with no issues ever

I'd advise not using HIDs for the high beams as it takes a shirt while for them to warm up and light the road properly. For me At least that sort of defeated the purpose. 8000k bulbs look great but don't light up the road very nicely when it's raining. The light basically reflects away from you instead of back to you.
