Wow, The TSW stealth look BMW wheel. (not comparing TSW to BMW quality) Ages since i saw them. Gizmo must have the last set left in the world.

Thanks for the support guys!! :clapper:

Hope you all enjoyed the event!

It was a great event, track and facilities are superb. :clapper:

Some drivers can make a little more effort in educating themselves on track etiquette of course.

I've got a new found respect for the 86 / BRZ cars, always thought they were too expensive and too slow, but after seeing not only their popularity, but also how capable they are....

Put me down for next year

I have 2 sets, one square set (white) and one staggered set (silver). BMW style 18 7,5Jx17 ET41 and 8,5Jx17 ET41. They come from the Z3 2.8i.

Those look great Gizmo, but your passenger looks way to calm bro, you must be a good driver.

My wife was green after the first session, so was Gareth's better half.... :roflol::roflol:

If I'm honest, I don't think I would make it as a passenger.
My passenger (Bman on the forum) is just as fearless as I so he loved every second of it. My wife, however was screaming all the way in terror! My drift HD on the windshield caught every facial expression she had, had such a good laugh watching the footage. She is less scared when I drift instead of race which makes no sense to me...

Same here I really enjoyed the track and the facilities are the best that I have seen.

I would have to agree with Herman, some guys where reluctant to move over for the "faster in the corners slower on the straights" cars. But I guess this only comes with more track day experience, plus we all know we are not racing - but deep down we are

Lots of people underestimate the twins platform on the track.
That said, this event almost didn't happen as it's a struggle to find a sponsor for the track fees. Maybe BMW can help next year wink wink nodge nodge

sidenote: after trackfees only R3500 went to the beneficiary. At least it was something.
