NO! Dont do it, its a trap!

Why??? TMAN??

The amount of repossessed cars I've seen at auctions with personalized number plates have given me a very stereotypical view of people that buy them.:tiptoe:

Personal preference, I just dont like 'em! /hides

You saying you see more personalised plates at auctions than standard plates?

I wouldnt do the personalized number plate thing, also crossed my mind but then everyone is gonna be ........ I saw you last week at the Shoprite (this will be semi okish as you wouldnt mind someone say that), problems is when you visit a friend and suddenly everyone knows where you were the whole weekend. Privacy out the door.

I rather have someone remember my car as a black bmw instead of BMW330i has been at the mall at 14:00, of I saw him later the day at the post office around 17:00, and he was at SPUR when I saw him around 20:00, only left around 22:00 ......Not my cup of tea

Who are these people that have so much time on their hands to commit to such an exercise? Sounds like a restraining order is required. FWIW People know 'normal' numberplates too (my close friends plates I know for instance) and would recognize any kind of personalisation on the car anyway IMHO
