Geez guys :fencelook:
I still enjoy my 320i manual for what it is...I'm at the coast and the car is not the fastest, but I get decent performance out of it. With the 320i I've learnt to adapt my driving style to a subtle one. No TLGP attempts etc.
BUT...to answer the OP, there is not much one can do to up the performance of the 320i E90 and even if you spend to gain performance your bang is definitely not worth the buck.
I've done the following to mine:
Removed flexible portion of intake - to give the car a bit of a more aggressive induction sound. The airfilter, airbox etc is all in place so worries of harming the engine - but definately sucking in more hot air than usual so it probably affects performance negatively, but hardly noticeable.
Changed all interior (including boot) globes to LED's - Vsomai is your man
Changed all exterior globes (parks and rear number plate holder globes) to LED's - again Vsomai
Changed halogen headlamps to Xenon 6000k's - Vsomai
Lamin-X'd - front and rear lights
Lowered Suspension with Eibach Springs
17" MSportpack wheels
There are a few more cosmetic upgrades that I want to get through, but if you catch my drift, it's more rewarding spending to enhance the looks of the 320i than what it is trying to squeeze performance out of it.
Hope this helps
I can't be boasting, but just an indication of the performance at the coast - I got 110kw and 180nm atw on a dyno last year.
