just ask them to stand between you and the car behind you, that way you hit something soft if you go too far :roflol:

I fitted PDC to my Navara becuase I dinged the tailgate the very first day I got it, reversing into the garage I did not see my work bench chair. Bought the kit from China Mall nogal for R470 plus it has a dash display which shows you how far you are from obsticles and whether its on the left or right.

I was nervous drilling holes in the chrome bumber, but it looks profesionally fitted and it works 100%. I can even switch it off for when I tow the caravan and want to park it.

The Park assist works 100% and is very use full if there is a short pole or something behind you! It saved my E46 320D a bumper! Only crap is 1)when the darn car watch stands in range of the sensors! That peep sound drives me mad! 2) when you backup with a trailer! I would go for a oem setup! The aftermarket stuff is cheap and does not work like its supposed! it cost +- R600 for a diy kit! The only thing I'm not sure of is can you spray the oem sensors! Good luck buddy hope you come right!

There is a simple mod that you can do with a relay to switch off the aftermarket PDC (or aftermarket towbar) when you have a trailer hitched. Must actually go look for it.

BMW had the OEM spec PDC and towbar functionality built into the car PC.
