passenger window mechanism

my window did a bit of abang and broke,iv locked closed luckily

the first time it broke it the cable slipped off the guide wheels,now i think the guide wheels or the lil cogs hace broken

so where do i get a new kit e39 30d

Is it a very difficult job to open everything up and try to figure out what is happening?

The L/R window makes a loud clunking noise only at the last about 1mm of it's closing....:fencelook:

its not a hard job to look,its just a hard job to fix stuff while using the force to figure out wats happening coz u cant see much,the guide wheels are plastic and mine were solid wen i checked them but plastic does tend to fail,i also got the clicking noise

howsit man,thanks for the reply,but somebody reversed into my cr lastweek so gna get insurance to replace the window,along with the door and mirror and pdc(even tho that is unrelated) align bumpers,respray front,buff

haha tryna see what else i can do that is in the region of the crash
