Clutchy, couches available if you guys want :)

San, timing is perfect, when you gents go down from new road, use the N12 instead of the N3, its like 5km or so longer, but no road works.. That N3 is still terrible...

Oh and spy, if I see your name on this list, Im gonna kick your ath dude :) How is it going, any news ?

Thanks for the advice, My original idea to take the eastern bypass (N3) -> southern bypass (N12). Which one should take instead as I don't see another way of getting on the N12, maybe the M1? and please pardon my lack of knowledge of the jhb motorways

Same split that you have that goes onto the N3 to M1, You also have the split to the N12 that goes past Rivonia, William Nicol ect.

Just just keep going straight on with that until you go past Soweto and finally the road will split again just past rand show offramp, you just keep left, and that will take you past Southgate Xavier, and then finally comaro..

Little bit further, but its worth it at the moment. I got stuck on the N3 past van buuren two or three saturdays ago at like 9am for 20 minutes..

Hey Guys and Gals

If memory serves me right, there is a camping site right next to the river in town. My Grandparents used to live there. There is like a resturant thinggy there, but it has been a while. If I remember correct, the place is called Mimosa, but I will see if I can confirm. It is right next to the river.

Mainly under the bridges, but not really.

But what do we care, Coisman is in front :)

:pimp:
I already posted that i will be in the back, to keep my eye on all of you.
Also you forget that the place we going I dont have any pull. :nono:
We can always have the run from Pretoria to Pretoria, :excited:
that way we can "push" it a bit and not worry to much, plus I will drive in front. :thumb:

Coisman, Im biting you shit dude :)

Convoy high speed driving is seriously dangerous anyway. All you need is one guy to make a mistake and you could have a multi car pile up.

What I suggest is we do like we did last time, two groups, one thats going to stick to like 120 - 130, anybody that wants to go faster can go in front at your own risk.

thats why I say go Pretoria to Pretoria...:)

If you are going to Parys then I have a good route for you

Its the way I go to our place on the Vaal River at Loch Vaal (in fact you drive right past it)
Pity im not home cos we could have all stopped off there :(

Anyways, you take the highway towards Bloemfontein/welkom etc etc
Go through the Toll gate (R13 ZAR), then about 60km up you take the Vanderbijl and Potch turnoff, but dont take the first offramp for vanderbijl (the big split off one), its the one after that.

Then when you take the offramp you turn left
Follow the road for about 1-2km and you will see a sign that says Loch Vaal, turn right there
Then follow the road for a few km's until you get to a T junction, you turn right there
Then about 1-2km down the road you will see a sign saying Parys, you turn left
Then you follow that road and follow the signs for Parys, you will drive past the 'Barage' of the river

Its a great route and good driving, thats the way we always go :)

If you want somewhere on the river and not Parys, then I would suggest Stonehaven, I can give you a good route to there aswell using the same one i just gave you :)

Will see if I can do the route thing for you guys on a map :)

the weekend of the 12th is our EID weekend.

The problem is as was stated in some of the previous posts is that the Zwartkops Super trax day and skid pad day is on the 19th and seem that quite a number of the guys will be going to that.
