Parts not listed in the EPC

There are two parts for the E34 M5 I cannot even buy because they are not listed in the BMW EPC.

One is a plastic cover over the fuel injector wiring, the other is a steel plate that holds some wiring behind a plastic cover next to the distributor.

How can they make a car and not list all the parts? This is screwing up my "perfect" attention to detail restore efforts.

It is the full Big kahuna latest EPC, also tried older versions too and realoem.

The stuff does not seem to exist.

I can't type a part number in to look on EBay because of the "What part number?" syndrome.

I need only three tiny parts to finish the engine back to factory spec with all it's parts there and intact down to the smallest trim pieces, and after all the months of sourcing hundreds of sometimes quite silly things to get it perfect too....grrrrr

Hmm, worst I have ever had was a part that was not in stock here or in germany and had to be ordered from production.

Well this is just a guess, but isn't it possible that these parts might be part of something else? Or comes together with something else?

Isn't it possible to have the stuff made?

Is it not possible that its sitting on the parts list for another car? Ive seen that before, where its becomes superseded on a new model but its actually the same part.

I have checked all the parts that Rick listed on my car and none of them have any sort of number printed, casted or stuck on them whatsoever.
I dont know how they made them with no part number. There are no references at all :thumbdo:
