UPDATE:

I battled to get a spot at Century City, they said we only allowed to use the parking area next to Porsche and behind the bus stop. Its a kak spot.
SMG's parking area is closed on the weekends, and Ratanga wont let us use theirs.

Then I was thinking of 1 of the beaches from Milnerton all the way to Melkbos. The problem is that its summer now and the beaches are busy on weekends, there might not be enough parking for us.

This past week I've been deciding where else to go.... I went just now to see if the parking area at Auto Atlantic is open on Sundays. It is. Venue now might be sorted.

Thats a good spot but who will come and watch us? That place is dead on a sunday? I realise its a problem to find a suitable place but the parkoff must be for the public...

Are there any school/public events/functions this coming weekend that we can show up, show off and make an impression?

Whats your thoughts?

I agree with you. That's why I wanted Century City, for the public to see us. Its busy here on weekends. I will speak to SMG tomorrow and see if I can get them to keep the parking open for us.

The beaches are busy in the afternoons, unless we go early morning like at 9am.

Or we can take a chance and still park at the Greenpoint stadium, with the Women marathon still happening. Dont know if they closing off that Parking area next to McD's

Killarney has a Rally all weekend, I will chat to Paul tomorrow and see if he can close off a spot for us on Sunday afternoon

how about camps bay
the grass parking lot along the main road

I always see cars parked in there, there is enough space for the amount of cars attending

will just have to figure out a proper time though

Just a thought

Here's another suggestion: Eden on the Bay - Big Bay

Untitled.jpg

I know this may be far for some of our fanatics, but I have seen other
park-offs here before, it's on the grass in front of the restaurants... and it doesn't necessarily have to be for this park-off... i.e. save it for a massive BMW park-off sometimes during the christmas season

We can grab a bite to eat, have a drink, take a stroll along the beach while passers-by view our lovely cars

I just had to go get another keyboard as my old shorted out from all the drool :drool::drool::drool:

I like maximus suggestion :thumb:

I was in Blouberg on Saturday around lunch time and it wasn't even close to busy a long the parking spaces Carbon suggested. That said though, the weather wasn't that great. (I also saw Jeff, but just as I saw him he turned off at the robot.) If we're going to take a chance on Parking, then I think we should go there.

Good idea Maximus.

I didn't think about Eden on the Bay cos they are packed on the weekends. Didn't know about the grass idea. I will phone Yolanda just now. I know her. I setup their network and PC's.

No problem, glad I could help....just thought of that idea last night,
while in bed trying to go to sleep.

Yes, I reckon we save Big Bay for the festive seasons
Then I will have more time to mod my car :biglol:

Cheerio!
