Park light remote fade in/out

Hi guys! i basically followed the instructions on here, its really very straight forward to do and looks awesome! also the amber LED's next to the sunroof switch is just connected to the wires on the switch (for the LED in the switch) with resistors on. The only thing with the light fade mod is that when u want to switch on only the one side of you cars park lights on (via the indicator stalk) it switches both on, because of the bridged wires, that's not a problem and is easily fixed by just using 2 diodes. Here is a pic of the diodes and the wire (highlighted in yellow):

you can maybe try to just tap it into the roof light? just gonna be a bit more effort. the footwell light and roof light fade in and out at the same time.
