Hi Gents

Google says p101b means "P101B

Variable valve timing, bank 1 - adaptive learning

Lol in stupid terms for me what does that mean?

Maybe valvetronic sensor, but could mean that there is a piece of cheese stuck in cylinder 3.

Adaptive learning means that the VVT needs to be set according to the adjustment of the ECU, which it cant do because it has no input from somewhere.

But I think google is wrong with that description,

If it is the VVT sensor, you do not do this one yourself.

Its done inside the head and you need to be extremly careful,

Oh and the part is like R92,000,000 from BMW as well.

He may just need the sensor... Not the entire dealership.

In that case, it's like R91,000,000 only. Don't scare the chap :rollsmile:
